Chapter 30 : duel of the warriors

The match officials came in to the ground. They dragged out the dead body, and put it out of the ground barrier, surprise to say, the dead guy is walking fine as hell. Emerald got his jaw dropped by seeing it. He asked Patrick " what the fuck is that " . "A barrier casted by the high priest of ventrgiz family. Every single injury, even the dead can be revived, at the cost of a single a thing , a life of another person, we take the giver from the prison after they received a death sentence . Unlike humans we are not savages" Patrick replied. "The savage part doesn't make any sense " emerald responded to it with smile.

All this time Clinton was showing his hands, making an example I'm that is all you need, he meant that he was the strong there is, the only one who can protect them. As he waited over, the next guy came onto the field, as expected it only took a single blow to split him apart, the guy were cut in half. The next person came in after the last dude, this time it were an rural vampire from the shores of Russia. Prosieky , he said his name before starting the duel.

The flag lofted. Clinton landed a blow on him, but it didn't reach as he expected. The Russian guy were not there. Clinton gave a side eye, Prosieky were smiling as he stood behind Clinton, he got furious he tried again but the same results . As Prosieky were evading the blows and attempts, he mudderd in a gentle voice "you lack experience , millua " .The next thing everyone saw was prosieky getting obliterated to tiny pieces of a million by Clinton.

Emerald got his eyes tuned in , cause he were lost in that horrific site. Someone came in and grabbed a piece of flesh from the ground and dropped it outside. As expected he got reincarnated outside the shield. From the curiosity emerald asked Patrick "what's the deal with the second shield" . "It covers the damage taken from the duel" Patrick replied. "Hmm, that's fantastic, what's the Manual say's about the shield" . "You didn't read it" . "Nah, it's just,... there's too much in it" . "If you step out of the shield you're disqualified" . "It doesn't say which shield right" . "That's right, why does it matter, a man of honour always stays in the inner ring, he doesn't run along in the outer space " . "You'll understand once you see it , anyway who's the next guy, why isn't he coming out " .

With a great sigh, Patrick got up and walked over to emerald patted on his head and said "I am gonna put my faith in you " after saying that he showed him the path to the arena. Emerald got a shiver through his body after hearing that. "There's nothing to be afraid of boy, you're not gonna die, but someone's life matters on you " Patrick said it with light tune, he had his worries splattering in it.

Emerald walked forward, by each step he took, he took a ton of weight on his body, doubting his decisions as he walked. He got into the ring without even knowing what happened. Emerald looked around. The crowd is clamouring about giving up. He took a look into the royal guests, there he saw Genna with a sorrow face, without hope. After taking a look at his opponent he greeted him. "Emerald Mortaza , nice to be here with you" . "Clinton Krasinski " . "I know who you are, everybody know " . "Same about you human, you should look at yourself " . The flag lofted , Clinton landed a blow, emerald got blown away from the centre to the north wing, he got up coughing blood, his nose and ears where flooded with it. "You should have stayed down, that was nice of me to do brat " Clinton shouted.

The seal on emerald's arm started to shine, as the same as Genna's, the original family got up after seeing that, with a great anger the older one among them murmured "unholy, bitch " he was looking at Genna as he did. The crowd got silenced after seeing that a scared binding vow of Genna on a mere human , what's happening. Emerald started to heal from the impact. "That binding vow , she is really into you I guess" Krasinski muttered. He calmed himself and put his move into action. But miraculous to say, emerald saw through everything, he got boosted by the vow, he took the miracle to another level, his agility and speed par on with Clinton. But an original were far superior to the normal one. It didn't took that much time for Clinton to land a critical blow, he plucked his throat, emerald ran to the border of the first shield, he put out his hand to the second ring . Emerald turned around and smiled at Clinton, he was surprised to see that the wound was healed by a binding vow. The king smiled after seeing the act. He understood what's going on. Clinton engaged again, emerald sustained the injuries again and again, but every time he got hit he ran to the border and healed himself, but the cover didn't last as much he expected. Clinton took his arm to stop the binding vow's healing, but unfortunately emerald ran into the border, every single one present on the occasion witnessed the brain of Emerald, he got his arm back, but the Krasinski mind was dwelling with plans to mutilate emerald.

Clinton raised his arm, one of the elite five came to him and asked what's the need, Clinton said something, he left. Clinton smiled at emerald as a new announcement has being made . "As of now that it's clear emerald has been using an unethical way of combat. He used a binding vow, which is against the rule, but the opponent were okay with this. And now to balance the rule we are removing the shield as per the request of the opponent Clinton, from now on it's a battle of life " . After the announcement has made , the Shield disappeared. Genna's face started to turn pale. Emerald stood there without understanding or taking in the words cause that's all there is to do, he were determined to step in and he did, now all that's left is the perfect ending.
