Emerald got up like surviving some kind of thunderstorm throughout the night . He looked at the phone

, “ohh man it’s late again , I think I am done for today “ . He got out the bed , brushed , took the toile nd shower together , to cut the time ! , After the breakfast he took a sprint to the bus stop . To b onest , he got to his college even though he had a shit morning.

Emerald is 17 now , a minor , an introvert , not that great with sports but still good with football . H tarted sleeping first in the morning while the goddamn sir is lecturing . His friends woke him up to avoi n black mark on his records , which he already has .

“Oiii sleep head , do you know anything for today’s exam ?” Albi put an question infront of hi fter his little journey over emerald’s bag .

“Ohh man exam , tbh I didn’t study anything, but still.....I guess I can pass it somehow , “ . “Ohh com n dude, you’re not tripping right, how the hell do you think you can pass an engineering mathematic xam with sheer luck “ tony blasted at him . “ Well you see ,...... i don’t know it was E.M exam today , hought it was the language “ . By the time he said it the whole dudes were around his seat , they jus ooked each other and went on their way after a big sigh!.

Emerald is an engineering student , 2 year in mechanical , he is smart kid but don’t show it like othe ookworms we guys usually see .

(The exam hall)

Everyone got so tense , the tension in the atmosphere is something like preparing for a nuclear launch .

Emerald wrote down some one words and looked up for help in the hall but all he could see is th reepy bookworms racing to get the job done and other fell patriates trying to get the pass mark . Fro he look of the hall he winded up , that’s it’s hopeless ask anyone, he and his fellow patriates looke ace to face for 3 hours .

(After the exam)

“Hey sleep head how did it go” ananthu asked. “Good i guess” he replied .

“ Bro if you gonna say the same shit like last year, we are done “ Albi got in the conversation . “Oh come on dude, I promise that I am never gonna lie, but you know I think I’m....... going to this one “

emerald said. “ Fail, ohh come on, you said the same thing on the last year’s combined study....., An don’t forget you’re the only one who passed “ ananthu striked, the talks gone on.

Emerald got home, took some snacks and put his efforts into completing the record works that’s bee ue to tomorrow

It’s almost 2 am he is writing his work, he heard something outside on the terrace, he got up From th ork and got out on the terrace to check it out he find nothing there, closed the door came back to his room

A wind flowed around him, suddenly he is on the bed , and someone is on his top, a girl but not normal one , he didn’t yell nor move, from the look of it he was shocked, he was sweating, he asked he after some seconds “ who are you, and get off from my belly” . “ Ohh little boy there’s no need to b hat much cold, I know that you like me , why not just be straight, boy” . “ Hell nah , who likes a nobody”

. “I’m not a nobody, her faceail expression changed, her eyes got pitch black with red eyeball,nervous dancing below the eye and cheeks.......afterall two fangs

Emerald murmured “A vampire.... Shit I’m I high from the snacks I ate, no way..... I think it’s my end”

He closed his eyes as a fact of accepting his fate and end, he said to himself, “it’s been a good and shit life still a worthy one “ .
